Job summary

The Best Connection Group is seeking an experienced Class 2 (C) Driver to join a leading Yorkshire manufacturer based in Sherburn in Elmet (LS25). The role offers a four-day week (Thursday to Sunday) with nights out and enhanced weekend pay, plus full induction and ongoing support from an experienced recruitment team.

Expect weekly pay, holiday pay, and opportunities for temp-to-perm progression to a £50,000 per year package with benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 (C) licence and Driver CPC.
• Digital Tachograph Card required.
• Able to perform heavy lifting in a two-person team.
• Home delivery or multi-drop experience is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Drive Class 2 (C) HGV vehicles across the UK.
• Deliver large, fully assembled furniture to customers' homes with a driver’s mate.
• Stay overnight in cab; bring bedding and toiletries.
• Carry out pre/post vehicle checks and report problems.
• Use a handheld scanner and complete proof of delivery.
• Provide excellent customer service at every delivery.

Job description

The Best Connection Group are seeking an experienced Class 2 (C) Driver to join our well-established client, a leading Yorkshire manufacturer based in Sherburn in Elmet (LS25).

What We Offer

• Earn up to £1,110 per week, including nights out
• Thursday to Sunday work
• Enhanced weekend pay: £18/hour Thursday and Friday, £20/hour Saturday, £22/hour Sunday
• Night out allowance: £25 for your first night, then £50 per night for nights 2 to 4
• Time & a third after 40 hours
• Thursday to Sunday work, with Monday to Wednesday off
• Weekly pay, plus holiday pay
• Full paid induction and training

• Temp to perm: £50,000 per year plus benefits when you go permanent
