Job summary

M4 Talent Group - North is seeking reliable Class 2 drivers for ongoing deliveries in Sherburn in Elmet. The role features 5am starts, Tuesday to Saturday shifts, and a porter to assist with deliveries.

You will handle 5–15 home deliveries daily, operate a Class 2 HGV, perform vehicle checks, and maintain accurate delivery paperwork while delivering excellent face-to-face customer service.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with Category C (Class 2) entitlement.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card and Driver CPC.
• Valid DBS check or able to complete DBS screening.
• Previous multi-drop delivery experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Deliver approximately 5–15 deliveries per day to customers' homes and other locations.

Class 2 Drivers Required – Sherburn in Elmet (LS25 6JH) Are you a Class 2 driver looking for ongoing work with competitive pay? Would you like to work for a well-established company delivering directly to customers' homes, with a porter to assist you? If so, we have a great opportunity for you! Our client is looking for Class 2 HGV Drivers to join their home delivery team based in Sherburn in Elmet (LS25 6JH). You will be responsible for the safe, accurate and timely delivery of products to customers at various locations. This is an ongoing position, working Tuesday to Saturday, with 5am starts. Pay rates range from £17.51 to £23.23 per hour, offering an excellent opportunity for experienced and reliable drivers. You will typically complete between 5 and 15 deliveries per day, depending on the route, and will have a porter working alongside you to assist with deliveries. Successful candidates will be required to pass a DBS check.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Complete approximately 5–15 deliveries per day to customers' homes and other locations.
• Drive a Class 2 HGV, ensuring products are transported safely and delivered on time.
• Work alongside a porter who will assist with deliveries and the handling of goods.
• Adhere to safe working practices, ensuring the safety of yourself and others at all times.
• Provide excellent face-to-face customer service at delivery locations.
• Complete all relevant vehicle checks and delivery paperwork accurately.

What you need to succeed:

• A full UK driving licence with Category C (Class 2) entitlement.
• A valid Digital Tachograph Card and Driver Qualification Card (Driver CPC).
• A valid DBS check, or the ability to successfully complete the required DBS screening.
• Previous multi-drop delivery experience would be an advantage.
• A positive, flexible attitude towards work, with excellent customer service skills.
• Reliability, good timekeeping and a professional approach to driving.
