Job summary

The Best Connection are recruiting experienced HGV Class 2 Drivers for our client based in Sherburn in Elmet (LS25), specialising in the delivery of flat-packed kitchen furniture to residential customers across the North of England. This is an ongoing opportunity, with a Driver's Mate and around 5–10 deliveries per day.

Role involves heavy lifting and frequent manual handling; candidates must be physically fit and comfortable with two-person delivery work.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence.
• Valid CPC Qualification.
• Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous Class 2 driving experience.
• Comfortable with heavy lifting and manual handling duties.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Site induction completed before first shift.

Responsibilities

• Drive HGV Class 2 vehicle and deliver flat-packed kitchen furniture to residential customers.
• Work with Driver's Mate and complete approximately 5–10 deliveries per day.

HGV Class 2 Driver

£17.51 per hour

£20.66 per hour after 9 hours worked

Tuesday to Saturday | 05:00 Starts

The Best Connection are recruiting experienced HGV Class 2 Drivers for our client based in Sherburn in Elmet (LS25), specialising in the delivery of flat-packed kitchen furniture to residential customers across the North of England.

This is an ongoing opportunity for the right candidate, working alongside a Driver's Mate and completing approximately 5-10 deliveries per day.

This role involves heavy lifting and frequent manual handling of kitchen furniture. Drivers must be physically fit and comfortable carrying large, bulky items into customers' homes as part of a two-person delivery team. This is not solely a driving role and will require a significant amount of physical work throughout the shift.

Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence
• Valid CPC Qualification
• Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous Class 2 driving experience
• Comfortable with heavy lifting and manual handling duties
• Excellent customer service skills
• Successful completion of a site induction before the first shift
