Job summary

Get Staff is recruiting a Class 2 Refuse Driver in Hampshire with opportunities in Portsmouth, Havant, Waterlooville, Petersfield and Guildford. Immediate start and temp-to-permanent progression are available. The role offers overtime and a fixed schedule starting 07:00.

You will drive HGV2/LGV2/Class 2 vehicles, perform vehicle checks, complete paperwork, assist with heavy lifting, and keep good communication with the operations team to meet delivery timelines in a busy environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a HGV driver.
• HGV2/LGV2/Class 2 Licence required.
• Clean Licence with no more than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive and operate HGV2/LGV2/Class 2 vehicles
• Carry out vehicle checks before and after shifts
• Complete paperwork and digital records accurately
• Multi-drop deliveries and heavy lifting when required
• Maintain communication with the operations team and drivers mates
• Adhere to traffic laws and safety regulations

Pay Rate: from £16.50 - £20.91+ per hour (minimum 8 hours with overtime) - Paid

TEMP TO PERMANENT

Weekly paid through agency / Monthly when you go permanent

Contract: 12 Weeks

Hours of Work: 07.00 - 15.00 Mon to Thursday 07.00 - 14.30 on a Friday
