Job summary

Supreme Recruitment is seeking a reliable Class 2 Refuse Driver in Hounslow to join our waste and recycling team. You will operate a refuse collection vehicle safely alongside loaders to collect household and commercial waste across the borough.

The role requires a valid UK Class 2 licence, Driver CPC and tachograph card, with a good understanding of drivers' hours and vehicle safety regulations. The position is full-time and funded on a temporary to permanent basis, with a 6:00 am start Monday

Qualifications

• Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.
• Driver CPC qualification.
• Digital Tachograph Card.
• Good understanding of drivers' hours and vehicle safety regulations.
• Previous refuse or waste collection experience is desirable but not essential.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class 2 refuse collection vehicle.
• Complete daily vehicle safety inspections and report any defects.
• Follow designated collection routes and schedules.
• Work closely with the refuse collection crew to ensure efficient service delivery.
• Adhere to all road traffic legislation and health and safety procedures.
• Maintain accurate records and complete relevant paperwork.
• Deliver excellent customer service when interacting with members of the public.
