Job summary

The Best Connection in Accrington is seeking a Class 2 HIAB Driver to join a busy building materials delivery operation. You will drive a Class 2 vehicle, operate HIAB to load/unload, and deliver to sites across the local area.

Start times are from 07:00, with regular daytime shifts and weekly pay. Overtime applies after 8 hours at enhanced rates, and a professional, safety-conscious approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 Licence (Category C)
• Valid HIAB / Lorry Loader qualification
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Experience operating a HIAB crane
• Knowledge of driver hours and working time regulations
• Professional and safety-conscious approach

Responsibilities

• Driving a Class 2 vehicle safely and efficiently
• Operating the HIAB crane to load and unload building materials
• Delivering products to customer sites across the region

The Role

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 2 HIAB Driver on behalf of our client based in Accrington.

This is an excellent opportunity for a professional and reliable driver to join a busy operation delivering building materials to commercial and residential sites throughout the local area.

Your duties will include:

• Driving a Class 2 vehicle safely and efficiently
• Operating the HIAB crane to load and unload building materials
• Delivering products to customer sites across the region
• Conducting daily vehicle checks and reporting defects
• Ensuring deliveries are completed accurately and on time
• Maintaining excellent customer service at all times
• Adhering to all transport and health & safety regulations

Requirements

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) Licence
• Valid HIAB / Lorry Loader qualification
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous experience operating a HIAB crane
• Good knowledge of driver hours and working time regulations
• A professional and safety-conscious approach
