Job summary

Driver Hire Colchester & Sudbury is seeking experienced HIAB drivers for ongoing work with a leading client in the construction materials sector. You will deliver building materials using a HIAB-equipped vehicle and ensure safe loading and unloading.

We offer competitive hourly rates, weekly pay, flexible shifts and immediate starts for reliable, safety-conscious drivers with HIAB certification and CPC.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence (Class 1 also accepted where applicable).
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Valid HIAB certificate (ALLMI or equivalent).
• Previous HIAB driving experience preferred.
• No more than 6 penalty points (no DR, DD or IN convictions).
• A professional, reliable, and safety-focused attitude.

Responsibilities

• Delivering building materials and other goods using a HIAB vehicle.
• Safely operating the HIAB crane for loading and unloading.
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks.
• Completing delivery paperwork accurately.
• Following all health and safety procedures.
• Providing excellent customer service at delivery sites.
