Job summary

Driver Hire Colchester & Sudbury is seeking an experienced HIAB Driver for ongoing work with a client. This role offers regular shifts, competitive rates, and weekly pay.

You will deliver building materials using a HIAB vehicle, operate the crane safely, perform daily checks, complete paperwork accurately, and maintain high health and safety standards with excellent customer service at delivery sites.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence (Class 1 also accepted where applicable).
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Valid HIAB certificate (ALLMI or equivalent).
• Previous HIAB driving experience preferred.
• No more than 6 penalty points (no DR, DD or IN convictions).
• A professional, reliable, and safety-focused attitude.

Responsibilities

• Delivering building materials and other goods using a HIAB vehicle.
• Safely operating the HIAB crane for loading and unloading.
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks.
• Completing delivery paperwork accurately.
