Job summary

Pertemps is recruiting for a Class 2 HIAB Driver in Coalville, Leicestershire. You will deliver building materials to customers and sites, operate a HIAB crane, and ensure loads are secured and paperwork completed. The role offers a stable ongoing position with weekly pay and an immediate start.

Expect Monday–Friday shifts, with optional overnight/tramping opportunities, and dedicated support from your Pertemps consultant.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 2 licence required.
• HIAB experience and HIAB qualification/certificate.
• CPC qualification required.
• Digital Tachograph Card required.
• Good driving record and reliable attitude.

Responsibilities

• Deliver building materials to customers, businesses and sites.
• Operate HIAB crane to load/unload materials.
• Secure loads and complete delivery paperwork.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and maintain vehicle condition.
• Provide excellent customer service on deliveries.
• Follow Drivers' Hours, WTD and health & safety regulations.

Pertemps are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 2 (Cat C) HIAB Driver to work for a well-established building materials company based in Coalville.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HIAB driver looking for ongoing work, competitive pay and the opportunity to work with a reputable company.

The Role

As a Class 2 HIAB Driver, you will be responsible for delivering building materials to customers, businesses and construction sites.

Your duties will include:

• Driving a Class 2 (Cat C) HGV vehicle
• Operating a HIAB crane to load and unload materials
• Delivering building materials safely and efficiently
• Completing deliveries to customer and construction sites
• Securing loads correctly
• Completing relevant delivery paperwork
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks
• Providing excellent customer service
• Following all Drivers' Hours, WTD and health & safety regulations

Tramping is not compulsory, although there may be opportunities for overnight stays for drivers who would like them.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

• Valid Class 2 (Cat C) HGV licence
• Previous HIAB experience
• Valid HIAB qualification/certificate
• Valid CPC
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Good understanding of Drivers' Hours regulations
• Good driving record
• Reliable and professional attitude
• Comfortable with customer-facing deliveries
