Job summary

Driver Hire Bury St Edmunds & Ipswich is seeking a Class 2 HGV Tanker Driver for an ASAP start in Ipswich. Temporary to permanent contract with 7am starts, Monday to Friday, and a £41,600 annual salary.

You will drive tanker units, collect liquid waste, work across Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridge & Essex, and use hand-held technology. Upskilling to HGV, ADR and HIAB after probation is available; a referral bonus scheme is included.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual licence with Cat C entitlement.
• Valid CPC & Digital Tachocard.
• No more than 6 effective penalty points.
• No DG, DD or IN endorsements.
• Previous tanker experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive a Class 2 tanker vehicle.
• Collect liquid waste from septic tanks and soakaways.
• Work across Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridge & Essex.
• Monday to Friday with 7am starts; use hand-held tech.

Class 2 HGV Tanker Driver

Pay rate: £41,600 per annum

Contract: Type: Temporary to Permanent

Location: Ipswich

Start Date: ASAP

We are looking for Class 2 HGV Tanker Driver to start ASAP for our client based in Ipswich, with all the support from our experienced Driver Hire team.

The successful Class 2 HGV Tanker Driver will receive:

£41,600 salary.

Guaranteed 10hrs per day.

28 days holiday prorated on PAYE.

Upskilling to HGV, ADR and HIAB after satisfactory probation period.

What to expect as a Class 2 HGV Tanker Driver:

Working Monday to Friday on 7am starts you’ll be driving a Class 2 tanker vehicle.

You’ll be collecting liquid waste dealing with septic tanks and soakaway issues.

Working areas are Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridge & Essex.

Must be able to work on own initiative and be comfortable using hand held technology.

No ADR training is required.

Previous waste tanker experience preferred but not necessary. Training will be given where required.

As a Class 2 HGV Tanker Driver you must:
