Job summary

Driver Hire Bury St Edmunds in Ipswich is seeking a Class 2 HGV Tanker Driver to join our client team. The role starts ASAP and involves driving a Class 2 tanker, collecting liquid waste, and working Monday to Friday with 7am starts across Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridge & Essex.

You must hold a full UK manual Cat C entitlement, CPC and Tachocard, and be eligible for the role with up to 6 penalty points. Training will be provided; ADR not required, and previous tanker experience is welcome.

Qualifications

• Full UK Manual Licence with Cat C Entitlement
• Valid CPC & Digital Tachocard
• Previous tanker experience preferred
• Have no more than 6 effective penalty points
• No DG, DD or IN endorsements

Pay rate: £41,600 per annum

Contract: Type: Temporary to Permanent

Start Date: ASAP

We are looking for Class 2 HGV Tanker Driver to start ASAP for our client based in Ipswich, with all the support from our experienced Driver Hire team.

The successful Class 2 HGV Tanker Driver will receive:

• £41,600 salary.
• Guaranteed 10hrs per day.
• 28 days holiday prorated on PAYE.
• Upskilling to HGV, ADR and HIAB after satisfactory probation period.

What to expect as a Class 2 HGV Tanker Driver:

• Working Monday to Friday on 7am starts you'll be driving a Class 2 tanker vehicle.
• You'll be collecting liquid waste dealing with septic tanks and soakaway issues.
• Working areas are Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridge & Essex.
• Must be able to work on own initiative and be comfortable using hand held technology.
• No ADR training is required.
• Previous waste tanker experience preferred but not necessary. Training will be given where required.

As a Class 2 HGV Tanker Driver you must:
