Job summary

Aberdeen Laundry Services is seeking an experienced delivery driver to join our Scotland-based team. You’ll be on the road on a fixed schedule, delivering clean linen and collecting used items across our four sites, with early starts and a Monday to Friday pattern, plus occasional Saturdays.

You’ll operate a Class 2 (Cat C) vehicle, maintain safety checks, log miles and fuel, and represent our company with a friendly, professional manner on every drop.

Qualifications

• A full Class 2 (Cat C) HGV licence is required.
• Driver CPC and digital tachograph card required.
• Delivery driving experience with multi-drop exposure is preferred.
• The right to work in the UK.
• Friendly, professional manner and ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Run multi-drop routes in a Class 2 vehicle, delivering clean linen and collecting used items.
• Handle cage and hamper deliveries and move them safely on/off vehicle.
• Be the friendly face at every drop for customers.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and loading/unloading safely.
• Record daily delivery logs, mileage and fuel.
• Follow drivers’ hours, tachograph rules and Highway Code; safety first.

What you’ll be doing

• Running multi-drop routes in a Class 2 (Cat C) vehicle, delivering clean linen and collecting used items.

• Being our friendly face at every drop. Our customers know our drivers, and they value them.
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and loading and unloading safely.
• Recording your daily delivery logs, including mileage and fuel.
• Following drivers’ hours, tachograph rules and the Highway Code at all times. Safety comes first, always.

What you’ll need
