Job summary

ARR Craib Transport Ltd. is seeking a Class 2 Driver to perform multi‑drop pallet deliveries and collections across Central Scotland. You will load, strap and secure goods, perform daily vehicle checks and stay in contact with the transport team to meet customer expectations.

The role requires a UK Class 2 Licence, DCPC and Tachograph Card, and a proactive, team‑oriented mindset with a focus on safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• Must hold a UK Class 2 Licence.
• Current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
• Experience of multi-drop preferred, but not essential.
• Passionate about providing excellent customer service.
• Ability to work to deadlines.
• Confident, polite, and a team player.
• Good geographical knowledge.
• Fit, flexible, hardworking, and self-motivated.

Responsibilities

• Operate curtain side trailer for multi-drop pallet collections and deliveries across Central Scotland.
• Ensure goods are loaded and secured properly using straps and nets.
• Conduct daily vehicle safety checks and use company phone for reporting.
• Maintain regular communication with transport team to update on progress and customer expectations.
• Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated with industry standards.

About the Role

As a Class 2 Driver, you will:

• Use a curtain side trailer to make multi drop collections and deliveries of pallets within the Pallet Network throughout Central Scotland. This will involve using a tail lift and pump trucks.
• Ensure goods are loaded and secured correctly to prevent shifting or damage. Use straps, nets, and other securing devices as needed.
• Perform comprehensive daily vehicle safety checks using your company phone to maintain top-notch vehicle safety and reliability.
• Stay in regular communication with the transport team to provide updates on your progress and ensure our customers' expectations are met.
• Participate in regular training sessions to stay ahead with the latest industry standards and best practices.

Essential Skills and Qualifications
