Job summary

BCP Council is recruiting a Class 2 HGV Driver with up-to-date CPC to join our Commercial Waste operations in the Bournemouth area. The 37-hour week is on a rota basis and may include weekends, early starts and late finishes.

You will service a range of vehicles (including skip, RORO and HIAB) and will engage with commercial customers and the public to ensure high quality service. We offer a competitive starting salary (£28,598) plus R&R payment (£2,649) and a clear pathway for progression

Qualifications

• HGV Class 2 entitlement and CPC up to date.
• Strong customer service skills and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Drive a range of commercial vehicles including skip, RORO and HIAB.
• Work 37 hours per week on a rota; weekends/early starts/late finishes may be required.
• Provide excellent service to commercial customers and the public.
