Job summary

Manpower UK in Carryduff is seeking a permanent HGV Class 2 Driver for waste and recycling operations. The role runs Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 5:00pm, totalling 45 hours per week across local routes.

You will handle scheduled and ad-hoc collections, perform safety checks, and ensure compliant transport of waste materials. A valid HGV Class 2 licence and clean driving record are required. Salary is negotiable based on experience.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 licence and a solid driving record are essential.
• Awareness of safety procedures and safe loading/transport of waste materials is required.
• Ability to complete route sheets and digital records accurately.

Responsibilities

• Drive HGV Class 2 vehicles on scheduled routes across the local area.
• Carry out pre-use and post-use vehicle checks.
• Ensure safe loading, transportation and tipping of waste materials.
• Complete route sheets and delivery notes accurately.
• Report vehicle defects and maintain vehicle cleanliness.
• Support loading/unloading at commercial and industrial sites.
