Pertemps Bristol Industrial is recruiting for an HGV Class 2 Driver/Loader in Bristol to join our waste and recycling collection service. The role combines driving with loading duties, requires a Class 2 licence and CPC, and offers a 39-hour week at £17.27 per hour plus overtime.

Qualifications

Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence.
Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
Good understanding of HGV driving regulations, Working Time Directive and tachograph rules.
Experience completing daily vehicle checks and defect reporting.

Responsibilities

Safely drive and operate HGV Class 2 vehicles in line with legal requirements and company procedures.
Collect, load, transport and unload waste and recycling materials.
Complete daily vehicle safety checks and report defects promptly.
Tip vehicles at approved recycling and waste facilities.
Accurately complete paperwork and electronic records using handheld devices.
Maintain high standards of vehicle cleanliness and presentation.
Deliver excellent customer service and communicate professionally with colleagues, customers and the public.
Work flexibly across different operational locations when required.
Follow all health, safety and environmental procedures.
