Job summary

Driver Hire Nottingham & Mansfield are recruiting three Class 2 HGV Drivers for a client in the NG11 area of Nottingham. The role involves delivering and collecting laundry products on a 4 on, 2 off rota with 12:30pm starts, offering ongoing work with the potential to become permanent after a temporary period.

You will drive Class 2 vehicles, perform cage handling, and ensure timely deliveries while adhering to safety and client policies.

Qualifications

• Valid Category C (Class 2) driving licence.
• Minimum of 1 year’s experience driving Class 2 vehicles.
• Valid Driver CPC qualification.
• Valid digital tachograph card.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Drive a Class 2 HGV safely and responsibly.
• Deliver and collect laundry products from customer locations.
• Load and unload cages, with some manual handling involved.
• Ensure deliveries and collections are completed efficiently and professionally.
• Complete all relevant vehicle checks and paperwork.
• Follow all road safety procedures and client policies.
