Job summary

HSL in Hinckley is seeking a reliable HGV Class 2 (Cat C) Driver to join our client. The role involves nationwide collection and delivery of hazardous and non-hazardous waste, with ADR compliance and safety checks as core duties.

Starting early with a base rate of £16.00 per hour, Monday to Friday, with weekend overtime and a night-out allowance. Cat C+E drivers are welcome to apply for holiday and sickness coverage.

Qualifications

• Valid Cat C (Class 2) licence.

• Reliable, professional and safety-conscious.
• Comfortable with manual handling and occasional nights out.

Responsibilities

• Collection and delivery of hazardous and non-hazardous waste across the UK.
• Compliance with ADR and hazardous waste regulations.
• Vehicle safety checks and completion of paperwork.
• Loading/unloading and some manual handling.
• Occasional yard work.
• Maintaining high standards of health & safety, PPE and vehicle cleanliness.

Pay & Hours

• £16.00 per hour
• Minimum 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday
• Over 40 hours / Saturday: £24.00 per hour
• Sunday: £32.00 per hour
• Night-out allowance: £26.20
• UK-wide work with occasional nights out
• Predominantly Monday to Friday. Starts as early as 5am.

The Role
