Job summary

QS Recruitment is seeking an HGV Class 2 driver for regular work in the Market Harborough area. The role involves driving a Class 2 vehicle, supporting routes, and transporting waste to disposal points. New pass drivers are welcome, with on-site induction and potential move to a permanent position.

Working days are Tuesday to Friday starting at 06:30, up to 40 hours per week. Position is temporary with long-term ongoing work and a closing date of 2026-10-07.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving licence with Cat C qualification.
• Digi Card.
• CPC card.
• Knowledge of the local area.
• No more than 6 points on licence.
• Be looking for work with an immediate start.
• Be reliable.

Responsibilities

• Drive a Class 2 vehicle on allocated routes in Market Harborough area.
• Transport all collected waste to a notified disposal point.
• Work as part of a team on allocated routes.
• Assist in winter months with salting and gritting roads or snow/ice removal.

Job Description

Are you a HGV Class 2 driver looking for regular work 4 days per week with NO weekends?
We want to hear from you.
You will be supporting our client in the Market Harborough area driving the class 2 vehicle.
This role will involve working as part of a team on allocated routes. You will transport all collected waste to a notified disposal point.
You may also be required in the winter months to assist in the winter emergency work such as salting and gritting roads or removal snow and ice. New pass drivers are welcome to apply. You will complete an on site driving induction and have the opportunity to work towards a permanent position.

Hourly Rate: You will be paid £15.17 per hour for this driving role.You will also accrue 28 days holiday per year pro rata.

Working Hours: Working days are Tuesday to Friday, starting from 06:30 daily. You can expect to work up to 40 hours per week.
