The Recruitment Crowd (Yorkshire) Limited is recruiting multiple HGV Class 1 and Class 2 drivers for an ongoing project in Normanton. Regular night work, competitive hourly rates, and potential permanent placements are on offer to suitable candidates.

Roles involve palletised parcel deliveries, with shifts across Monday to Sunday. Full UK license, CPC, tachograph, and WTD knowledge are essential, along with a professional and safety-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with Class 1 or Class 2 entitlement.
• Minimum 6 months' experience on HGV licence.
• Valid DCPC/CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card.
• No more than 6 points on licence; good WTD awareness.

Responsibilities

• Safely transporting palletised parcels between units and couriers.
• Complete regular runs between delivery points and sites.
• Load/unload using tail lift and pump truck where required.
• Maintain accurate paperwork and comply with safety standards.
• Represent the company professionally with customers and teams.

HGV Class 1 & Class 2 Drivers – Up to £18.55ph | NormantonThe Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well-known and industry-leading client based in Normanton. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 1 and Class 2 Drivers to join the team on an ongoing basis, with the opportunity to secure a permanent position for the right candidates.

The Role

As an HGV Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of palletised parcels between delivery units and couriers.

Your duties will include:

• Safely transporting palletised parcels
• Completing regular runs between delivery units and couriers
• Collecting and delivering goods between sites
• Loading and unloading the vehicle using a tail lift and pump truck where required
• Completing and maintaining accurate paperwork
• Working safely and efficiently at all times
• Representing the company professionally when dealing with customers and delivery teams

Requirements

• Full UK driving licence with the relevant Class 1 / Category C+E or Class 2 / Category C entitlement
• Minimum 6 months' experience on your HGV licence
• Valid DCPC/CPC qualification
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• No more than 6 points on your licence (minor offences only)
• Good understanding of Working Time Directive (WTD) legislation
• Willingness to complete a short driving assessment
• Excellent communication skills
• A professional and safety-conscious approach to driving
