Job summary

Blue Arrow are recruiting for HGV Class 2 drivers to work in Wetherby. The role involves multi-drop deliveries, heavy lifting of kegs up to 125kg and alcohol handling, with 9 shifts available across Monday to Friday. Typical start times range 5am–7am with 9–10 hour shifts.

Two-day induction includes a driving assessment and theory test, plus manual handling training. The position offers ongoing work with temp-to-perm opportunity for the right candidate and requires a UK Class C licence, CPC and

Qualifications

• Valid UK Class C licence required.
• CPC and Digital Tachograph Card required.
• Experience preferred but new passes considered.

Responsibilities

• Multi-drop deliveries, 10–15 drops per day.
• Handle heavy kegs up to 125kg and alcohol products.
• Assist with loading/unloading and manual handling where needed.

HGV Class 2 Driver

Contract Type: Ongoing, temp to perm for the correct candidate.

Positions Available: 9

Location: Wetherby, LS23

Pay Rates: £16.54ph

Shift Patterns

• Shifts: Monday to Friday
• Start times and shift length: Between 5AM and 7AM Starts, 9-10 hour shifts.

Job Role

• Very heavy Handball which involves he handling of Alcohol
• Multi-drop, on average between 10-15 drops a day
• Involves handling of kegs which can weigh up to 125kg

Requirements

• Full UK Class C Licence
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous driving experience would be preferred but new passes can be considered.

PLEASE NOTE - 2-day induction before going out on the road which includes a driving assessment and theory test.

Theory test is basic driving questions and tachograph related questions

Driving assessment is a 1-hour drive around the area near our site which includes a mixture of roads.

2nd day of induction is manual handling training
