Job summary

Platinum People Recruitment Ltd are recruiting for 5 x HGV Class 2 Driver roles at our client in Wetherby. Duties include manual delivery of kegs to pubs, bars and restaurants with 2-man teams and pre-planned routes. Monday-Friday shifts start at 06:00, averaging 12–14 drops per day across 8–10 hour shifts.

Full induction with manual handling training is provided (paid after 2 weeks). This is a temp-to-perm role after 12 weeks, with pay £18.54 per hour including holiday pay.

Qualifications

• Valid UK driving licence category C.
• Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices for safe driving.
• Ability to handle physical tasks associated with loading and unloading.

Responsibilities

• Manual delivery of kegs to pubs, bars, restaurants, casinos etc.
• 2-man delivery teams with a driver’s mate for assistance.
• Shift pattern Monday–Friday, 06:00 starts; 12–14 drops per day; 8–10 hour shifts.

• All vehicles are pre loaded and routes pre planned, 2 man delivery teams with a drivers mate for assistance
• Monday-Friday shift pattern 06:00 start
• Average 12-14 drops daily with average shift length between 8-10 hours
• Full induction including manual handling training given (paid after 2 weeks)
• Temp to perm role after 12 weeks

Pay HGV Class 2 Driver:

• £18.54 - Monday-Friday - Including holiday pay
• Temp to perm after 12 weeks
