The Recruitment Crowd are recruiting on behalf of our well known client in the Wetherby area for multiple HGV Class 2 Drivers (CAT C). Induction/assessment required before starting, with a 6am induction.

Hours are typically 05:00–07:00 starts, located in Wetherby (LS23). Pay rate is £16.54 per hour PAYE. Ongoing with potential for permanent for the right candidate; role is double manned and involves local deliveries to bars/restaurants.

Formación

• Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement (category C).
• 1 year of experience on Class 2.
• Valid DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
• Full understanding of Working Time Directive legislation.

Responsabilidades

• Multi-drop delivering alcohol to bars/restaurants within the local area.
• Around 10–15 drops per day.
• Ensure orders are secured and packaged correctly for delivery.
• Inform customers of order delays or stock shortages.
• Assist with unloading of orders at customer premises.
• Collect empty kegs/pallets and return to depot storing correctly.
• Complete paperwork/EPOD tasks and liaise with Transport Management.

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Wetherby area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 2 Drivers (CAT C) to join the team.

Please note an induction/assessment is required for this role prior to starting - 6am for induction.

Hours: Monday to Friday, typically 05:00am-07:00am starts.

Pay Rate: £16.54 per hour PAYE

Location: Wetherby, LS23

Job Type: Ongoing with an opportunity for permanent for the right candidate.

The role: (Please note that the role will be double manned)

• Multi-drop delivering alcohol to bars/ restaurants within the local area.
• Around 10 - 15 drops per day.
• Ensure customer orders are secured and packaged correctly for delivery prior to departure.
• Inform the customer of any order delays, stock shortages or problems.
• Assist with the unloading of customer orders from the vehicle to the customer premises.
• Collect empty kegs/pallets and returns - when back at Depot ensure they are handled and stored correctly within the Warehouse or yard.
• Complete all paperwork/EPOD tasks and any administration tasks Liaise with Transport Management re. vehicle issues/delays.

Requirements

• Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement (category C).
• 1 years experience on Class 2.
• Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
• Full understanding of WTD legislation.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A safety-first mindset.
