Job summary

Blue Arrow in Wetherby is recruiting an HGV Class 2 Driver for ongoing, temp-to-perm roles with 9 vacancies. You will perform multi-drop deliveries, averaging 10-15 stops daily, and handle heavy loads including 125 kg keg weights.

The role runs Monday to Friday with early starts. Induction lasts two days and includes a driving assessment and theory test; CPC and tachograph cards are required. Applications from all backgrounds are welcome.

Qualifications

• Experience with heavy lifting and multi-drop routes.
• Must have CPC and tachograph qualifications.
• New passes considered with induction and driving assessment.

Responsibilities

• Perform 10-15 daily drops across routes.
• Handle heavy kegs up to 125kg responsibly.
• Follow safety and regulatory compliance.

Job description

Job Title: HGV Class 2 Driver

Contract Type: Ongoing, temp to perm for the correct candidate.

Positions Available: 9

Location: Wetherby, LS23

Pay Rates

• £16.54ph

Shift Patterns

• Shifts: Monday to Friday
• Start times and shift length: Between 5AM and 7AM Starts, 9-10 hour shifts.

Job Role

• Very heavy Handball which involves he handling of Alcohol
• Multi-drop, on average between 10-15 drops a day
• Involves handling of kegs which can weigh up to 125kg

Requirements

• Full UK Class C Licence
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous driving experience would be preferred but new passes can be considered.

PLEASE NOTE - 2-day induction before going out on the road which includes a driving assessment and theory test.

Theory test is basic driving questions and tachograph related questions

Driving assessment is a 1-hour drive around the area near our site which includes a mixture of roads.

2nd day of induction is manual handling training
