Job summary

Berry Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Class 2 Refuse Driver to serve Watton and surrounding areas. You will perform daily refuse and recycling collections, operate in‑cab tech, complete real‑time paperwork, and carry out routine vehicle inspections for safety and reliability.

The role emphasizes courteous customer interaction, teamwork to keep routes on schedule, and maintaining vehicle cleanliness and service readiness. Hours typically Monday to Friday with competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 driving licence (with no more than 6 points).
• Driver CPC is required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out refuse and recycling collections daily, with knowledge of machinery aspects.
• Use in-cab technology and mobile devices as directed.
• Complete relevant paperwork in real time.
• Carry out daily inspections and reporting for machinery and vehicles, before and after use.
• Ensure the cleanliness of machinery and vehicles.
• Maintain excellent customer and client relations, particularly with members of the public and other road users.
• Willingness to help refuse loaders to complete the route within service levels.

Salary: GBP19.51 - GBP19.99 per hour

Berry Recruitment are currently recruiting for Class 2 Refuse Drivers inand around Watton.

Main responsibilities will include:

• Carry out refuse and recycling collections daily, with skills and knowledge of all machinery aspects of the job
• Undertake all duties in a professional manner deploying safe lifting and handling techniques appropriate toarticles left for removal
• Use in-cab technology and mobile devices as directed
• Complete relevant paperwork in real time
• Carry out daily inspections and reporting for machinery and vehicles, before and after use
• Ensure the cleanliness of machinery and vehicles.
• Maintain excellent customer and client relations, particularly with members of the public and other motor users
• Willingness to help refuse loaders while on your rounds to enable your team to complete the route within the service level agreement

What you’ll need to succeed

• Valid HGV Class 2 driving licence (with no more than 6 points)
