Job summary

Get Staff is seeking a Category 2 Driver (HGV2, LGV2, Class 2) for Portsmouth/Fareham. This temp-to-perm role offers pay from GBP 17.00 to GBP 20.91+ per hour, paid weekly, with an immediate start.

Shifts typically run 7am to finish (minimum 8 hours daily), Monday to Friday with no weekends. Requirements include a clean licence (max 3 points) and at least 12 months of HGV driving experience; multi-drop deliveries and glass handling are involved.

Qualifications

• Clean Licence with no more than 3 points.
• HGV2, LGV2, Class 2 licence required.
• At least 12 months' experience as an HGV driver.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive and operate HGV2 / LGV2 / Class 2 vehicles.
• Complete multi-drop deliveries and handle heavy lifting.
• Deliver glass products securely and maintain delivery paperwork.
• Carry out vehicle checks and report defects.
• Provide excellent customer service on delivery.
• Adhere to safety regulations and health & safety policies.
