Job summary

Speedy Hire Plc. is seeking a professional Category C (Class 2) Powered Access Driver to join our Warrington team, delivering and collecting scissor lifts, boom lifts and other MEWPs to customer sites.

You'll load, secure and transport equipment, perform safety checks and maintain accurate delivery paperwork while delivering excellent customer service and complying with safety standards.

Qualifications

• Full UK Category C (Class 2) driving licence.
• Valid Driver CPC and digital tachograph card.
• No more than 6 penalty points on licence.
• Experience driving commercially within the UK.
• Good knowledge of the local area.
• Strong focus on safety and customer service.
• Positive, reliable and self-motivated approach.
• Powered access, plant or beavertail experience would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Safely loading, securing, transporting and unloading powered access equipment.
• Driving a rigid vehicle with a plant body and/or beavertail.
• Carrying out vehicle and equipment safety checks.
• Delivering and collecting equipment safely and on time.
• Completing delivery paperwork and digital records accurately.
• Working closely with transport and hire desk teams.
• Providing excellent customer service.
• Following all road traffic and health & safety requirements.
