Job summary

Speedy Hire Plc. in Warrington is seeking a professional Category C (Class 2) Powered Access Driver to join the team, delivering and collecting scissor lifts, boom lifts and other MEWPs to customer sites. You will be the face of Speedy on the road, ensuring safety and excellent service.

The role includes loading/unloading, safety checks, timely deliveries, and close collaboration with transport and hire desk teams. A strong safety and customer-service focus is essential.

Qualifications

• Full UK Category C (Class 2) licence.
• Valid Driver CPC and digital tachograph card.
• No more than 6 penalty points on licence.
• Experience driving commercially within the UK.
• Strong focus on safety and customer service.
• Positive, reliable and self-motivated approach.
• Powered access/plant/beavertail experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Safely loading, securing, transporting and unloading powered access equipment.
• Driving a rigid vehicle with a plant body/beavertail.
• Carrying out vehicle and equipment safety checks.
• Delivering and collecting equipment safely and on time.
• Completing delivery paperwork and digital records accurately.
• Providing excellent customer service on site.
