Job summary

Speedy Hire Plc in Warrington is seeking a qualified Class 2 (Category C) Powered Access Driver to load, transport, and deliver MEWPs to customer sites on a Mon-Fri schedule (06:00-17:00, 45 hours/week). The role focuses on safety, accuracy, and excellent customer service on the road and on site.

You will perform vehicle checks, adhere to safety regulations, and support the team with efficient logistics and paperwork. A valid UK driving licence with up to 6 penalty points is required.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence with up to 6 penalty points.
• Familiarity with Warrington area routes.
• Strong focus on customer service and safe driving.
• Experience driving within the UK.
• Willingness to support ESG initiatives in operations.

Responsibilities

• Safely loading, unloading, and transporting powered access equipment using a rigid truck with plant body and/or beavertail.
• Carrying out vehicle and equipment checks for safety and compliance.
• Delivering excellent customer service at every delivery and collection.
• Completing relevant delivery paperwork and digital records accurately.
• Communicating effectively with the transport and hire desk team.
• Adhering to all road traffic and health & safety regulations.
