Job summary

Speedy Hire Plc. in Warrington is seeking a professional Category C (Class 2) Powered Access Driver to join the team.

You will be responsible for delivering and collecting powered access equipment, ensuring safe loading, securing and unloading, and maintaining accurate delivery records. The role emphasizes safety, punctuality and excellent customer service as you act as the face of Speedy on the road and at customer sites.

Qualifications

• Full UK Category C (Class 2) driving licence.
• Valid Driver CPC and digital tachograph card.
• No more than 6 penalty points on licence.
• Experience driving commercially within the UK.

Responsibilities

• Safely load, secure, transport and unload powered access equipment.
• Drive a rigid vehicle with a plant body and/or beavertail.
• Carry out vehicle and equipment safety checks.
• Deliver and collect equipment on time and safely.
• Complete delivery paperwork and digital records accurately.
• Work closely with transport and hire desk teams.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Follow all road transport and safety requirements.
