Job summary
Speedy Hire Plc. in Warrington is seeking a professional Category C (Class 2) Powered Access Driver to join our team, delivering and collecting scissor lifts, boom lifts and other MEWPs to customer sites.
You will be the face of Speedy on the road, performing safety checks, loading and unloading equipment, and ensuring paperwork is completed accurately. A clean UK licence, CPC, tachograph card, and a safety-focused mindset are essential.
Qualifications
- Must hold full UK Category C (Class 2) driving licence.
- Valid Driver CPC and digital tachograph card.
- No more than 6 penalty points on your licence.
- Experience driving commercially within the UK.
- Good knowledge of the local area.
Responsibilities
- Safely loading, securing, transporting and unloading powered access equipment.
- Driving a rigid vehicle with a plant body and/or beavertail.
- Carrying out vehicle and equipment safety checks.
- Delivering and collecting equipment safely and on time.
- Completing delivery paperwork and digital records accurately.
- Working closely with transport and hire desk teams.
- Providing excellent customer service.
- Following all road traffic and health & safety requirements.
