Job summary

Manpower Group (UK) is looking for a Class 2 Driver for night-time multi-drop deliveries in Rochester. You will be responsible for safely delivering car parts to dealerships, managing an average of 12-14 deliveries per night, and ensuring compliance with vehicle checks.

Qualifications

• Have a valid Class 2 (Category C) HGV licence.
• Holder of Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Possess good knowledge of the UK road network.
• No more than 6 penalty points and no DD, DR, IN, or CD endorsements.
• Good knowledge of the UK road network.
• ADR qualification is preferred but not essential.
• Reliable, professional, and customer‑focused attitude.
• Ability to work independently and manage a busy delivery schedule.

Responsibilities

• Complete night-time multi-drop deliveries of car parts to dealerships.

• Conduct daily vehicle checks for compliance.
• Use a pallet truck to unload pallets when a customer forklift operator is unavailable.
• Use handheld scanners and complete delivery paperwork accurately.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks to ensure compliance and roadworthiness.
• Deliver excellent customer service at all delivery locations.

Location: Rochester

Shift times: Monday to Friday, 10pm start

Pay Rate: £17.66 per hour

We are recruiting for a Class 2 Driver on a temp to perm basis to join our client's busy transport operation in Rochester. This role involves night‑time multi‑drop deliveries of car parts to dealerships and automotive customers across designated routes, ensuring deliveries are completed safely, efficiently, and on time.

Our client is a third‑party provider of transportation and logistics services that offers a range of services from Drayage, Global freight forwarding & Full truckload transport. The company is committed to environmental sustainability and works with customers to create action plans to reduce emissions.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete night‑time multi‑drop deliveries of car parts to dealerships and automotive customers.
• Carry out an average of 12‑14 deliveries per day within similar postcode areas.
• Operate your vehicle safely and in line with company and legal requirements.
• Use a pallet truck to unload pallets when a customer forklift operator is unavailable.
• Use handheld scanners and complete delivery paperwork accurately.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks to ensure compliance and roadworthiness.

Requirements
