Job summary

Manpower Group (UK) is recruiting reliable Class 2 Drivers for a night/early-morning multi-drop role at Southampton, delivering fresh bakery products to commercial customers. Temp to perm opportunity with ongoing shifts and thorough onboarding.

You will start between midnight and 03:00, hold a valid Class 2 licence, CPC, and Digital Tachograph Card, and you should be comfortable with repetitive routes, loading/ unloading, and completing paperwork.

Class 1&2 Drivers Wanted - Nights (Temp to Perm)

Location: Southampton

Shift Start Times: Between 00:00 and 03:00

We are currently recruiting reliable Class 2 Drivers for a well-established food distribution operation. This is an excellent opportunity for drivers who enjoy working night or early morning shifts and are looking for long-term, consistent work with the potential to secure a permanent position.

The Role

As a Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for delivering fresh bakery products to a range of commercial customers. This is a multi-drop delivery role requiring good time management, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.

Your duties will include:

• Collecting your vehicle from the designated parking area
• Returning to the depot for loading
• Loading and securing deliveries
• Completing scheduled delivery routes
• Returning empty baskets and delivery equipment
• Completing vehicle checks and relevant paperwork
• Returning the vehicle at the end of your shift

What We're Looking For:

• Valid Class 2 Licence
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Comfortable working permanent night or early morning shifts
• Previous multi-drop delivery experience preferred
• Reliable and committed with excellent attendance standards
• Professional and customer-focused approach
• Able to work independently following training

Training & Induction

Successful drivers will complete a comprehensive onboarding programme which includes:

• Site induction (up to 4 hours)
• Health & Safety training
• Site systems and procedures training
• Route familiarisation
• A minimum of two accompanied training shifts
