Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd. in Rochester is seeking a Class 2 Driver for night-time multidrop deliveries of car parts on a temp-to-perm basis. The role runs Monday to Friday with a 10pm start and pays £17.66 per hour.

Responsibilities include 12–14 deliveries per day, safe vehicle operation, handheld scanner use, and daily vehicle checks. ADR preferred but not essential; cycle to work scheme and ongoing training are offered.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) HGV licence.
• Driver CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card.
• No more than 6 penalty points and no DD, DR, IN, or CD endorsements.
• Good knowledge of the UK road network.
• ADR qualification is preferred but not essential.
• Ability to work independently and manage a busy delivery schedule.

• Carry out an average of 12-14 deliveries per day within similar postcode areas.
• Operate your vehicle safely and in line with company and legal requirements.
• Use a pallet truck to unload pallets when a customer forklift operator is unavailable.
• Use handheld scanners and complete delivery paperwork accurately.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks to ensure compliance and roadworthiness.
• Deliver excellent customer service at all delivery locations.

temp to perm basis to join our client's busy transport operation in Rochester. This role involves night-time multidrop deliveries of car parts to dealerships and automotive customers across designated routes, ensuring deliveries are completed safely, efficiently, and on time.

Our client is a third-party provider of transportation and logistics services that offers a range of services from, Drayage, Global freight forwarding & Full truckload transport. The company is committed to environmental sustainability and works with customers to create action plans to reduce emissions.
