Job summary
Carlsberg Group in Blackburn is recruiting multiple Class 2 Drivers for a permanent role. Reporting to the Transport Shift Manager, you will deliver stock to customers, assist the warehouse team, and foster strong customer relationships while prioritising health and safety.
Working 46 hours per week, predominantly Monday–Friday with 5 in 7 flexibility and 5am starts. Salary £38,541 with overtime at 1.5x. Generous benefits include pension, life assurance, bonus schemes, and staff discounts.
Qualifications
- Must hold a valid Class 2 Licence and CPC Drivers Card.
- Up-to-date knowledge of the Highway Code and driving (health and safety) legislation.
- Knowledge of the local region; full induction training provided.
Responsibilities
- Drive lorries up to 26 tonnes to deliver stock to customers.
- Support Drivers Mates and Warehouse team with loading/unloading stock.
- Build strong working relationships with customers and other departments.
- Use local knowledge to ensure on-time deliveries.
- Prioritise health and safety in all processes.
- Safely unload stock and reload empty kegs into dray.
