Job summary

Manpower is recruiting a Class 2 Driver to join our Blackburn-based team on a temp-to-perm basis. You will deliver goods from distribution centres to pubs, supermarkets, and events, adhering to timescales and customer service standards.

Mon-Fri shifts start from 5am with varying start times; you will work with warehouse and office colleagues, perform vehicle checks, and maintain safety, timekeeping, and professionalism across all deliveries. Weekly pay at £15 per hour is offered.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Category C licence (max 6 points).
• Current Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Basic numeracy and literacy skills required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver goods to customers safely, on time, and in full, following all legal and company requirements.
• Collaborate with Warehouse, Transport, and Office teams to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Support yard and loading activities as required.
• Complete multi-drop deliveries while maintaining high customer service standards.
• Carry out vehicle checks and report defects or incidents promptly.
• Adhere to Working Time Directive, driver hours, health and safety, and policies.
• Handle delivery issues professionally and escalate when needed.
• Work safely, respectfully, and with integrity at all times.
• Assist with training new team members as required.
