Job summary

Questech Recruitment Ltd are seeking an experienced Class 2 Driver to join one of our top clients in the waste sector. The role is Temp to Perm, starting via agency with ASAP starts available. Training and progression opportunities are provided.

You will drive Class 2 refuse collection vehicles and assist with loading, paperwork, and safety compliance. Hours are Monday to Friday with an alternate Saturday; about 42.5 hours weekly, with pay £19–£23 per hour depending on experience and licence

Qualifications

• Must have UK Class 2 licence, CPC and Tacho with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Temp-to-perm via agency with ASAP starts.
• Full training/induction provided on vehicles.

Responsibilities

This role will be Temp to Perm and start initially through the agency. ASAP starts available.

Class 2 Driver / Loader duties:

• Driving Class 2 Refuse Collection vehicles
• Will involve being on your feet and assisting loading / organising recycling, refuse and garden waste
• Ideally experience within waste / RORO / RCV but not essential
• Ensure all documentation and paperwork is completed accurately.
• Adhere to all health and safety.
• Must have a UK Class 2 licence, CPC and Tacho with no more than 6 penalty points
• Full training / induction will be provided on their vehicles.

Hours:

You will be working Monday to Friday with an alternate Saturday. 7am start each day until finish, work circa 42.5 hours a week.

Pay Rate:

The hourly rate will be between £19 - £23 an hour depending on experience, licences and pay type.
