Job summary

Questech Recruitment Ltd are seeking an experienced Class 2 Driver to work for a leading client. The role is initially via agency with Temp to Perm progression and ASAP starts.

You will drive Class 2 refuse collection vehicles and assist with loading, documentation, and adherence to safety guidelines, with training provided. Typical 42.5 hours/week, Mon-Fri with alternate Saturday shifts, £16–£20 per hour depending on experience and licences.

Qualifications

• Must hold a UK Class 2 licence, CPC and Tacho with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Full training and induction provided.
• Experience in waste/recycling roles preferred but not essential.
• Diligent with paperwork and health and safety compliance.

Job description

Questech Recruitment have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Class 2 Driver to work for one of our top industry leading clients. This company offers great working environments and ongoing training and progression for all employees.

This role will be Temp to Perm and start initially through the agency. ASAP starts available.

Class 2 Driver / Loader duties:

• Driving Class 2 Refuse Collection vehicles
• Will involve being on your feet and assisting loading / organising recycling, refuse and garden waste
• Ideally experience within waste / RORO / RCV but not essential
• Ensure all documentation and paperwork is completed accurately.
• Adhere to all health and safety.
• Must have a UK Class 2 licence, CPC and Tacho with no more than 6 penalty points
• Full training / induction will be provided on their vehicles.

Hours:

You will be working Monday to Friday with an alternate Saturday. 7am start each day until finish, work circa 42.5 hours a week.

Pay Rate:

The hourly rate will be between £16 - £20 an hour depending on experience, licences and pay type.
