Job summary

Carlsberg Britvic is recruiting a Class 2 Driver in Bedford. Reporting to the Transport Manager, you will drive lorries up to 26 tonnes, delivering stock to our customers and supporting drivers' mates and warehouse teams.

This permanent role offers a 48-hour week with Monday–Friday base but flexible 5-in-7 shifts; starts vary to meet business needs. A valid Class 2 Licence and CPC are essential, with good knowledge of the local region and health and safety at the forefront.

Qualifications

• A current and valid Class 2 Licence and CPC Drivers Card are essential.
• Knowledge of health and safety legislation relating to driving.
• Good knowledge of the local Bedford region is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Driving lorries up to 26 tonnes to deliver stock to customers.
• Support Driver’s Mates and Warehouse team with loading/unloading.
• Build strong relationships with customers and other departments.
• Use local knowledge to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Keep health and safety at the forefront of all processes.
