Job summary
Carlsberg Britvic is seeking a Class 2 Driver for the West Thurrock area to join our dray crew. You will drive up to 26 tonnes, deliver stock to customers, and work with a Driver’s Mate and warehouse team to ensure on-time deliveries.
The role requires a valid Class 2 licence and CPC card, knowledge of the Highway Code, and a commitment to health and safety. 33 days’ holiday, pension, and other benefits are included.
Qualifications
- Must hold a valid Class 2 licence and CPC card.
- Knowledge of the Highway Code and road safety legislation.
- Experience in customer service is desirable.
- Manual handling training is beneficial and may be provided during induction.
Responsibilities
- Drive lorries up to 26 tonnes, delivering stock to customers.
- Support Drivers Mates and Warehouse teams with loading/unloading stock.
- Build strong working relationships with customers and other departments.
- Utilise knowledge of the local region to ensure on-time deliveries.
- Maintain a high standard of health and safety in all processes.
