Job summary

Carlsberg Britvic is recruiting a Class 2 Driver based in Bedford to deliver stock to customers and support loading/unloading with the Driver’s Mates.

Reporting to the Transport Manager, you will build strong relationships with customers, comply with health and safety, and apply regional knowledge to ensure on-time deliveries. This permanent role offers a generous benefits package and a structured induction.

Qualifications

• A current and valid Class 2 Drivers Licence and CPC Drivers Card.
• Up to date knowledge of the Highway Code and driving (health and safety) legislation.
• Knowledge of local region.
• Manual handling experience and/or training desirable, however full training will be provided during induction.

Responsibilities

• Driving lorries up to 26 tonnes, delivering stock to customers.
• Supporting the Driver’s Mates and Warehouse team in loading/unloading stock.
• Building brilliant working relationships with customers and other departments.
• Using knowledge of the local region to safely deliver on-time.
• Holding health and safety at the forefront of all processes.

Job Title: Class 2 Driver

Location: Bedford, MK41 0LZ

Job Length: Permanent

Working Hours: 48 hours per week. Predominantly working on a Monday to Friday basis, however, flexibility required to work any 5 days in a 7 day period. Start times to vary to suit business needs.

Salary: £45,411 with OT paid at 1.5 x salary

About the role:
