Job summary

Major Recruitment is seeking Class 2 Drivers (HGV2) to work for our client based in Preston. If you're reliable, motivated and enjoy being out on the road — this could be the perfect role for you.

This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay with consistent full-time work, and leading to a genuine long-term permanent opportunity. Start times are 03:00 with 8 hours a day, 5 days a week (including alternate Saturdays).

Qualifications

• Valid C Licence (HGV Class 2) and DQC card.
• Digital Tachograph Card required.
• Minimum 1 year Class 2 driving experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
• No more than 6 points for minor offences.

Responsibilities

• Deliver milk products to wholesale customers and hospitals.
• Operate 18t or 26t tail lift vehicles.
• Follow client procedures and safety rules.

Ensuring the safe delivery of milk products to wholesale customers and Hospitals across the clients network using their 18t or 26t tail lift vehicles.

• 03:00 start time
• 8 hours a day
• 5 days a week (inc alternate Saturdays)

To be considered for this role you must have:

• A valid C Licence (HGV Class 2)
• DQC Card
• Digital Tachograph Card
• Minimum 1 years Class 2 driving experience
• Excellent communication skills
• No more than 6 points for minor offences (no IN, DD, DR endorsements)
