Job summary

StaffCo Direct is recruiting HGV Class 2 drivers to work with a logistics partner in the Portbury area. You will deliver carpets to homes and shops, with manual handling aided by winch and trollies. Shifts run early, with long hours, Monday to Friday and occasional weekends. Immediate starts and on-site training are available.

Pay rates are PAYE: Mon-Fri AM £17.68ph or £19.81 with holiday pay; Sat/Sun £20.80ph or £23.31 with holiday pay. Weekly pay and on-site parking are provided.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 (LGV C) UK license.
• Minimum 1 year of recent HGV Class 2 experience.
• CPC and Digital Tachograph (Digi Tacho) and compliance.
• Strong UK road network knowledge.
• Excellent communication skills and a professional manner.
• Physically fit and presentable.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of carpets to residential and shop locations.

• Saturday/Sunday : £20.80ph plus holiday pay or £23.31 including holiday pay

The Role

• Delivery of carpets to residential/shops
• There is a degree of handball with this roll with assistance of winch and trollies
• AM:05:00 - 06:30
• Monday to Friday (Occasional Weekends)
• Shift durations between10 -12 hours
• Immediate starts available
• Assmt required and then 1st 3 days will be training.
