Job summary

Gregory Distribution is seeking a Class 2 Driver to perform multi-drop deliveries across the South West from Bristol. The role requires loading with a tail lift and securing goods, with daily safety checks and regular updates to the transport team.

You will work Monday to Friday, 06:00–15:00, at a competitive annual salary. DCPC training is provided during employment, with overtime paid and weekend rates available.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid UK Class 2 (C) licence.
• DCPC and Digital Tachograph Card required for compliance.
• Experience in multi-drop deliveries is preferred but not essential.
• Strong customer service and brand representation at every stop.
• Ability to work to tight schedules and manage time effectively.
• Excellent communicator with colleagues across transport and logistics.
• Good understanding of UK road networks, especially Wales region.

About the Role

• Operate a rigid vehicle to carry out multi-drop deliveries of paper and packaging products across the South West, using a tail lift to ensure safe and efficient loading and unloading at customer locations.
• Ensure goods are loaded and secured correctly to prevent shifting or damage.
• Use straps, nets, and other securing devices as needed.
• Perform comprehensive daily vehicle safety checks using your company phone to maintain top-notch vehicle safety and reliability.
• Stay in regular communication with the transport team to provide updates on your progress and ensure our customers' expectations are met.
• Participate in regular training sessions to stay ahead with the latest industry standards and best practices.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

• You must hold a valid UK Class 2 (C) licence.
• A current Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (DCPC) and a Digital Tachograph Driver Card are essential to ensure compliance with legal and safety standards.
• Previous experience in multi-drop delivery is preferred, but not essential, as full training will be provided to get you up to speed.

• You'll need to be comfortable working to tight schedules, managing your time effectively to ensure deliveries are made promptly and safely.
