Job summary

Gregory Distribution Ltd is hiring a Class 1 Driver for night shifts based near Cribbs Causeway, Bristol. You will operate curtain side, box, and refrigerated trailers to deliver to retail locations, ensuring loads are secured and vehicle checks are completed daily.

The role requires a UK Class 1 CE licence, DCPC and Tachograph cards, good customer service, and the ability to work to deadlines. The position offers a base salary from £40,380 per year plus a night-shift premium and regular

Qualifications

• Must hold a UK Class 1 CE Licence.
• Current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
• Experience delivering loads to client sites is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Operate curtain side, box trailers and refrigerated trailers to deliver goods to retail locations.

• Maintain regular communication with transport team and customers.
• Attend training sessions to stay updated with industry standards.

Shift: 5 out of 7. Sunday to Thursday - Nights

About The Role

• Using curtain side, box trailers and refrigerated, as well as single and double deck trailers, to transport goods to various retail locations.
• Ensure goods are loaded and secured correctly to prevent shifting or damage. Use straps, nets, and other securing devices as needed
• Perform comprehensive daily vehicle safety checks using your company phone to maintain top-notch vehicle safety and reliability.
• Stay in regular communication with the transport team to provide updates on your progress and ensure our customers' expectations are met.
• Participate in regular training sessions to stay ahead with the latest industry standards and best practices.

Essential Skills And Qualifications
