Job summary

Fifth Wheel Recruitment is seeking a Class 2 Skip Driver in Hatfield to operate a Class 2 skip vehicle, deliver and collect skips, and ensure safe waste transport to disposal facilities.

The role requires 6 months of Class 2 experience, a valid DCPC and Digi-tacho card, and adherence to WTD regulations. UK resident and availability to travel to site for shifts are essential.

Qualifications

• Class 2 driving licence and at least 6 months experience driving commercially.

Responsibilities

• Driving and operating a Class 2 skip vehicle
• Delivering and collecting skips from customer sites
• Transporting waste safely to disposal facilities
• Completing daily vehicle checks and reporting defects
• Completing all required paperwork accurately
• Providing professional customer service
• Following drivers’ hours and tachograph regulations
• Complying with health and safety and environmental procedures
• All applicants are expected to complete work to a high standard while following site safety procedures.

Pay Rate: £19.05- £28.58 p/h

Shifts: Monday to Friday

Driver Type: Class 2 - refuse driver

Experience: 6 months class 2 experience - essential

Contract: Temp to Perm (12 weeks)

Previous experience working in the waste industry would be beneficial.
