Job summary

Fifth Wheel Recruitment are recruiting Class 2 Drivers in Shildon, County Durham, to drive skip wagons for a recycling service client. The role is temp to perm after 8 weeks, with 12 months Class 2 experience and CPC requirements.

Pay is £14.64 to £16.40 per hour, with weekly pay and immediate starts. Overtime opportunities are available and site facilities include break areas and free parking.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class 2 Driving Licence with CPC and Digi-Tacho card.
• Minimum 12 months of Class 2 driving experience required.
• UK resident with ability to travel to site for shifts.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday (06:00 - 16:00)

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Driving and operating a Class 2 skip vehicle
• Working safely around pedestrians, traffic, and other road users

All applicants are expected to complete work to a high standard while following site safety procedures.

About you:

You will have your Class 2 Driving Licence and at least 12 months experience driving commercially. You must also have your UK DCPC card and a valid Digi-tacho card.Our client may accept up to 6 points on your licence, but we can not accept DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements. As a professional Driver, you will be up to date with the WTD regulations.

Previous experience working with skips would be beneficial.

You will be a UK resident and will be able to travel to and from the site for your shift. We are unable to assist with VISA applications and cannot assist with relocation.
