Job summary

Pertemps Stoke on Trent is seeking an experienced Class 2 Driver for a busy Stoke-on-Trent operation. This role involves delivering and collecting palletised goods across ST, CW and SY postcodes with around 20 drops per day and daytime starts.

You will drive a Class 2 curtain-side vehicle, perform vehicle checks, and complete delivery paperwork in a reliable, Monday–Friday schedule beginning at 8:00am, earning £15.50 per hour. Local work with regular daytime hours supports consistent employment.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 (Cat C) driving licence.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph.
• Previous Class 2 driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Delivering and collecting palletised goods across local postcode areas.
• Complete around 20 deliveries/collections per day.
• Operate a curtain-side vehicle and assist with FLT-offloaded sites.

Pertemps are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 2 Driver to join our client's busy transport operation based in Stoke-on-Trent.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a reliable and experienced Class 2 Driver looking for regular Monday to Friday work with consistent 8:00am starts.

Details of this Class 2 Driving role:

As a Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for delivering and collecting palletised goods across the ST, CW and SY postcode areas.

You will typically complete around 20 deliveries/collections per day, with loads transported on a curtain-side vehicle.

Key Responsibilities for a Class 2 Driver:

• Driving a Class 2 curtain-side vehicle
• Completing approximately 20 deliveries/collections per day
• Delivering palletised goods across ST, CW and SY
• Using an electric pump truck where required
• Working alongside sites where goods are offloaded by FLT
• Completing all necessary delivery paperwork and vehicle checks

Requirements of this Class 2 Driving role:

• Valid Class 2 (Cat C) driving licence
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph
• Previous Class 2 driving experience
• Good knowledge of the local road network

Working Hours & Pay of this Class 2 Driving role:

• Monday to Friday
• 8:00am start times
• £15.50 per hour
