Job summary

Pertemps Stoke on Trent is recruiting an experienced Class 2 Driver to join our busy transport operation in Stoke-on-Trent. This is regular Monday to Friday work with an 8:00am start, delivering and collecting palletised goods across ST, CW and SY areas, typically around 20 deliveries per day.

The role requires a valid Class 2 (Cat C) licence, CPC and Digital Tachograph, prior Class 2 experience, and a good knowledge of the local road network. £15.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 (Cat C) driving licence.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph.
• Previous Class 2 driving experience.
• Good knowledge of the local road network.

Responsibilities

• Driving a Class 2 curtain-side vehicle.
• Delivering and collecting palletised goods across ST, CW and SY.
• Completing around 20 deliveries/collections per day.
• Using an electric pump truck where required.
• Working with sites where goods are offloaded by FLT.
• Completing delivery paperwork and vehicle checks.

Details of this Class 2 Driving role

As a Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for delivering and collecting palletised goods across the ST, CW and SY postcode areas.

You will typically complete around 20 deliveries/collections per day, with loads transported on a curtain-side vehicle.

Key Responsibilities for a Class 2 Driver

• Driving a Class 2 curtain-side vehicle
• Completing approximately 20 deliveries/collections per day
• Delivering palletised goods across ST, CW and SY
• Using an electric pump truck where required
• Working alongside sites where goods are offloaded by FLT
• Completing all necessary delivery paperwork and vehicle checks
