Job summary

Driver Hire Derby is seeking an experienced Class 2 Driver for Ilkeston with early morning starts and a temp-to-perm pathway. You will complete deliveries for a busy client, maintaining professionalism and reliability from shift to shift.

Starting on a temporary basis, there is the potential to transfer to a permanent role for the right driver. The position offers regular, ongoing work Monday to Friday with immediate starts available.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 (C) licence required.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph required.
• Previous Class 2 driving experience preferred.
• Reliable and punctual with good communication.
• Comfortable with 4am-5am starts.

Responsibilities

• Deliveries on behalf of our client in Ilkeston as a Class 2 Driver.
• Maintain professional standards and customer service during early-morning routes.
• Ensure on-time deliveries and compliance with tachograph and CPC rules.

Driver Hire are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 2 Driver to join a busy and well-established client based in Ilkeston.

This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable Class 2 Driver looking for regular, ongoing work with the opportunity to secure a permanent position. The role starts on a temporary basis, with the opportunity to transfer to the client on a temp-to-perm basis for the right driver.
